A Total Waste of Money

It's true that this refrigerator looks good and is roomy. Alas, neither of these features keep my food cool, fresh and/or frozen. This refrigerator broke down during the first month of ownership. It took forever to repair--the motherboard needed to be replaced. After replacement, the motherboard failed again. Several "factory authorized" technicians failed to fix it; they kept diagnosing various problems. Finally someone from Maytag came to replace it; it seems that Maytag/Amana gave their technicians the wrong information on how to install the motherboard. Now, 8 months after the last install I am storing my food in a cooler while I wait for service--again! I am very, very angry. If you buy this refrigerator you will be, too.
