Freezer doesn't defrost well, pull out drawer glides freeze

I've had Amana's before and they were great.

My latest isn't.

The freezer doesn't seal properly, so the freezer collects ice and doesn't defrost enough.

The complex ball-bearing draw glides (which replaced the previous very simple oven-slides), can actually get frozen--making it impossible to open the freezer without unplugging it for a half an hour.

THE SEARS FREEZER ON THE BOTTOM WITH SLIDE OUT TRY IS ALSO AN AMANA (and Sear's service has gotten so bad since being bought by K-mart that it's worthless--you can wait a month for service no matter how serious your problem).

The shelves are not easy to adjust. Some slide out but this feature is not helpful because items fall off the back of the shelf, so you just stop sliding.

Items in refrigerator freeze, while items in freezer sometimes don't.

It makes a LOT of noise.

This has NOT been a good, reliable appliance.

If you can--find a fridge with shelves that adjust easily, that lets you pull out shelves without items falling from the back, that has a freezer that actually seals and defrosts (mine builds up ice faster than the glaciers are losing it from global warming).
