..this is the noisiest frig I ever heard.
I bought this in 12/08 and ever since has sounded like a popcorn_ machine. Everyone that hears it asks about it. The freezer seems to be the culprit, popping loudly for the first 15-30 seconds when coming on. Afterwards is fine but totally distracting noise. Called Amana and said 'thats normal' and referred me to the manual that said 'certain noises are normal'. I bought this special order sight unseen so had no prior warning.
