The best nav I've used

I've tried MANY navigation systems, and I've never found any better than this Alpine; I'm not sure about the mp3 interface (which one reviewer complained about), but I think anyone saying that some cheap, portable NAV is better than this unit does not have enough experience using it;
A big screen (like any head for this unit) is a BIG plus when it comes to navigating 'on the fly' (eg. It's great to be able to easily see if you can get around the next construction zone or giant backup at a major intersection);
'Scrolling' on the screen is smooth and fast, and also aids in 'detouring' as mentioned above;
Search results give you an arrow and distance (perfect for finding the ice cream place or car wash between where you are and where you're going);
The voice recognition is nice for your common searches (like "Find Nearest Italian Restaurant" :)
The maps can be missing some info (like all NAVs, which normally outsource their map & POI info)... but they're updated regularly... and quite good overall;
There's much more in terms of functionality, but I've got to go; So I'll end by saying that the more I use this NAV, the more I like it;
