Ooh La La, Allure!

The Bottom Line: Beauty tips and advice abound in this terrific magazine, but for more serious topics and issues go read Marie Claire or Redbook.

The Bottom Line: Good if you are a rich, trendy socialite. Trendy mag, but not much substance.
Review: I do like the free cosmetic samples that are usually in Allure, and it sometimes has good beauty tips, but those are the only redeeming qualities of the magazine in my opinion.
There are far too many ads...it seems like they make up half of the...

Review: I purchased Allure magazine's subscription because of the information they have on beauty, fashion and cosmetics.  There are great articles and images in the magazine, in addition to the great stars who usually become cover models for the issue. ...
