The allegiance may be fragile but the game isn't

Fragile Allegiance is a must have game that'll keep you coming back for more again and again. There is nothing like the feeling of launching hundreds of missiles in a synchronised attack on an enemy asteroid before bringing your mighty fleet to bear on them. The space battles are just poetry in motion (when you're on the winning side ;-) and there is a huge range of things you can do.

Theres lots of different scenarios to play through that'll teach you to play pretty quickly. Before long you'll be slogging it out with the best the computer can throw at you, which is an impressive six alien races all with different outlooks on life but all out for your blood at the end of the day.

For those people lucky enough to have a couple of networked PCs in their houses then the game is even better. Occaisionally its a bit unstable so avoid sending too many messages during play but other than that network play makes a great game even better by allowing you to bring all the skills you've learned playing the computer to bear on a human opponent.
