I'd love to visit Wonderland

I grew up on this Disney classic and there is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best Disney movies I have ever seen.

I don't care for many Disney movies but this one is just so creative (in part because of the story) that I can't help but to fall in love with it.

The main reason why I fell in love with "Alice in Wonderland" was because of all the wonderfully fun characters that Alice runs into along the way. All these characters are in an unknown world that Alice is not familiar with and each of them have a very strange perception on reality and the world around them. This is in part due to the fact that they live in a ‘fantasy world.’ These characters are really whimsical in the sense that they have a charm that is entirely their own that I have never seen before.

I love the scene where Alice is stuck in the never ending walking circle around the giant bird with the other odd looking creatures as the sea’s tide goes in and out until Alice is swept away by it in a giant bottle. The walking circle seems to symbolize Alice’s seemingly never ending journey to find her home and every time she thinks she’s close, she runs into another obstacle.

"Alice in Wonderland" is such a creative story, who couldn’t resist its charm? It fostered my imagination when I was a child and I believe it can still do that. The creativity is CONTAGIOUS! Can’t you feel it!?

I would definitely recommend this movie to a family with small children and to watch it together with a big bowl of popcorn.
