Disguise the Limit

by   carstairs38 ,  Mar 9, 2007
Pros: Characters, Acting, Plot. Yep, pretty much everything
Cons: You're kidding, right?
The Bottom Line: Buy. Set aside a weekend. Watch. You'll thank me.
Review: Back in 2001, my Sunday nights were almost always packed with activities at church. I didn't watch any TV shows that night because I couldn't keep up with them. I had a rare Sunday free the week this show premiered, and I decided to watch the pilot. I ...

James Bond, With a Heart

by   briankrakow ,  Aug 27, 2004
Pros: A winning central character, great supporting cast and breathtaking stunts.
Cons: Requires suspension of disbelief.
The Bottom Line: Alias is recommended for fans of both action and drama. If you liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer or the Bourne Identity films, you will most likely love this show.
Review: I was never a big fan of the James Bond movies. Sure, I liked them. They had great stunts, over the top villains and witty double entendres. I just didn't care about it. I mean did anyone really care whether or not James Bond was gonna die? There was ...

The first season of Alias is one of the best DVD sets of the year.

by   deepthroat101 ,  Oct 12, 2003
Pros: Next to "24", "Alias" is the most taunt, intelligent, and unpredictable show on television.
Cons: A few hokey getaways, but they are ultimately minor quibbles.
The Bottom Line: If you're like me and were too lazy to watch Alias, this fantastic DVD set is a great to catch up on one of the best shows on television.
Review: The recent trend of TV series being released in the form of DVD boxed sets has provided me with countless hours of entertainment in the last few years. I currently own no less than nine such sets, and the latest, and easily best of them, is the action-spy ...

Alias is Identifiably Great!

by   agentsmith136 ,  Oct 30, 2003
Pros: See Below
Cons: See Below
The Bottom Line: Didn't you hear? Alias rocks!
Review: As a rule, I’ve always critiqued television shows differently than films, but the line between the two is becoming harder to discern, as television programs these days are becoming so damn cinematic. Case in point: ABC’s Alias. This ...

The Best Show on TV

by   nikefreak ,  Jan 26, 2004
Pros: Splendid acting, movie-like quality, great action, breath-taking cliffhangers, Jennifer Garner in sexy outfits!
Cons: Wish a guide was provided, but really, not a big deal
The Bottom Line: Buy it now because Alias is the greatest show on TV and the show will leave you wanting more and more great episodes to come
Review: Of course, I'm writing this after I have already reviewed Season 2, but better late than never. This show is head and shoulders above almost any program there is on TV. I'm constantly amazed by the look, because it seems as if this is just a really ...

A Series Worth Watching Again and Again

by   kandscreeley ,  Jan 8, 2008
Pros: Fabulous story lines and acting. Wonderful characters. Great suspense.
Cons: Sometimes the plot is a bit involved and can be difficult to follow.
The Bottom Line: This series is absolutely well done and well worth the money to buy.
Review: My husband and I are always watching out for shows that we can watch from the first season all the way to the last. He had seen a couple of episodes of this on late night TV and liked it, so we decided to take a chance on it. We rented these one by one ...

ALIAS: A great series that can be enjoyed by everyone!

by   kappaknight ,  Sep 11, 2004
Pros: Great stories, believable acting, beautiful cast, breathtaking cliff-hangers, cool gadgets.
Cons: Not enough support from fans! Little bonus material.
The Bottom Line: Get this DVD set before it's too late. ALIAS has a great story and you should find out why from the top.
Review: Since many of the other reviews on here have already touched on the storyline, I will not elaborate too much on the actual plot in this review; instead I will just say why this is a MUST get DVD set. ALIAS caught my eye when it first broad-casted. As ...

Who Can You Trust???

by   queenkat ,  Apr 25, 2006
Pros: a wonderful heroine, great cast, and unbelievable cliffhangers all jam-packed with action and suspense
Cons: the wait until the next episode
The Bottom Line: This is one of the best shows on TV right now. If you start it watching it, you won't be able to stop.
Review: I thought that Alias looked interesting from the very beginning. The problem was that I missed a lot of episodes and I never knew exactly when it was on. A lot of stuff happens in Alias and if you miss a lot of episodes, you'll most likely get lost. That ...

A Great Set for a Great Show

by   excremento ,  Sep 26, 2003
Pros: 5.1 digital sound, wide screen aspect, bonus features, all the great shows from Season 1.
Cons: A handy little booklet would have been nice. No documentation is included.
The Bottom Line: ALIAS Season 1 is one of the most original and entertaining television shows I've seen. The hype is true: ALIAS is amazing and Jennifer Garner is a great actress.
Review: I have been a dedicated fan (given that fan comes from "fanatic") of ALIAS since it debuted in 2001. From the first extra-long, commercial-free episode, I was hooked. This DVD set is a must-have for any fan of the show and is crucial for anyone who wants ...

Let the Games Begin!

by   duckbooks ,  Jan 24, 2008
Pros: action packed spy adventures with just enough romance to keep it interesting!
Cons: can be slow moving at times; you have to be patient!!
The Bottom Line: Love the whole series as a great action and spy adventure!
Review: I remember seeing the previews for the very first episode and thinking, "Are you kidding me?! Do they really think people are going to watch some bimbo with an orange wig on?". Well, after a nice long meal of crow, I have to say that I was hooked from ...
