Not what I expected

I work out regularly and I would consider myself to be in pretty good shape. I bought this video based on review I had read about it on other websites. But it just was not any where near as great as people were claiming. First of all, the set is pretty boring. They are all sitting in a group in the sand. I guess it's trying to play up the serene, peaceful, calm setting that so many yoga people talk about. I was surprised to find out that the video is not instructed by Ali herself, but some yoga guru named Eric. The actual workout starts out with some breathing techniques & a bunch of sun salutations and moves on slowly from there striking some other yoga poses, etc... I did the tape a number of time and just did not feel like I was getting any benefits out of it. If you are not very flexible it maybe a good tape for you. I just did not find it very challenging. It is not like other yoga tapes that actually include more of the toning exercises and not just stretches. So I guess what it all comes down to is if you're looking for yoga tape that actually feels like your working out then this is not the tape for you. This tape is good if you want a very mellow scene and want an hour long stretching session. I personally think that there are better tapes out there.
