inspired yoga routine

Ali MacGraw has put out the best yoga tape I've seen. Her introduction is humble and appropriately reflective--she introduces her teacher and lets him lead the series. Surrounded by gorgeous deserts and mountains (and gorgeous yogis and yoginis), if you have a second to look up from your mat you won't be sorry. The series is meditative and also challenging enough to last beyond a few viewings. The music (by the band Dead Can Dance)is possibly the best part of the whole experience--finally an exercise video with an inspired score that wasn't written on a computer! The only real drawback to this tape is that there are no inversions, but this is most likely to protect viewers from breaking their necks. It is also very helpful to take a few classes with a live teacher before practicing at home--teachers make subtle adjustments that enhance one's yoga practice greatly.
