Just what I wanted.

Okay, maybe I wanted something that sounds just as good for $25.99, but I came to grips with the fact that that wasn't going to happen. I plunked down the $70 or $80 or whatever it was at Costco and I'm very happy I did. I wanted something I could use to listen to the news in the morning as I'm getting dressed and this fit the bill perfectly. In fact, it sits in my bedroom and my regular shelf system with detached speakers is in the living room, but more often than not when I have company I will put the music on in my bedroom - the sound is that good and I can turn it way up and the sound quality doesn't suffer.

And it's the first stereo system I've had with a remote that actually works!

It's absolutely perfect for those spaces you want great sound. And worth the cost above other, lesser quality brands.
