Don't forget that you are our son

by   GregRadiohead ,  Mar 26, 2009
Pros: An excellent, indispensable companion to OK Computer
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: This EP is a must have for fans. It is a worthy companion piece to OK Computer while managing to not retread the same ground (well, except for 'Airbag').
Review: This is going to be an awfully solipsistic, navel gazing review for the most part, so if you're just here for the 'consumer report' type stuff, you can skip down the last few paragraphs.I'm going through one of those 'transitional' periods of ...

I Want to Lie in the Middle of the Floor

by   onelamefan ,  Nov 22, 2002
Pros: 6 new tracks, each one's a gem in it's own right, it's cheap.
Cons: Songs that wheren't included, can be somewhat hard to find.
The Bottom Line: The "Airbag/ How am I Driving" EP is a nice introduction to Radiohead. And although it can be hard to find it's worth it.
Review: This EP “Airbag/How am I Driving” can in many ways bee seen as the true bridge between 1997’s land mark Grammy winning record “OK Computer” and 2000’s I.D.M. influenced “Kid A”. The record is just as rocking as the...

Is it a single? Is it an album? Does it matter?

by   pants ,  May 17, 2000
Pros: Radiohead, and its cheap!
Cons: You pop-soaked mind might melt when you listen to this
Review: I came across this while searching for any Radiohead album I did not currently have. I scooped it up without delay, and quickly popped it into my Discman. To be honest, I had downloaded half of the songs in mp3 form before I bought this. I can't...

Just Swell!!!!

by   purvdog ,  Jan 25, 2000
Pros: Great Music
Cons: Only 8 songs
Review: For any Radiohead fan out there that bought Ok Computer and could not figure out why Airbag never came out as a single this album feeds the soul and the appetite for Radiohead. With 8 new kick ass songs radiohead dealves further into a techno vibe...

radiohead! oh, god! radiohead!

by   Studlyfrog ,  Dec 6, 1999
Pros: The music and price are fantastic.
Cons: It makes you think a lot and is pretty out there.
Review: Oh man, radiohead is god. That's all there is to it. If anyone out there likes "The Bends" and "OK Computer" then I should think that "Airbag" is for you. First off, it's a wonderful investment...seven unreleased tracks...

B-Sides, Rare Gems, and Experimental Stuff from Radiohead, OH MY!

by   thevoid99 , top reviewer in Music at Epinions.com ,  Apr 22, 2003
Pros: An Excellent EP from Radiohead.
Cons: It's Short & Garnered Towards Hardcore Fans.
The Bottom Line: "Airbag/How Am I Driving?" EP is an excellent record for hardcore Radiohead fans who enjoy the band's B-sides and unreleased tracks.
Review: Upon the release of “OK Computer” in July 1997, no band was garnering more acclaim than Radiohead did that year. By early 1998, the band was already achieving worldwide success as their previous albums “The Bends” and “Pablo...

Hail To The Computers, OK Kid? Celebrating Radiohead #5 - Airbag EP

by   andym173 , top reviewer in Music at Epinions.com ,  Mar 25, 2004
Pros: More Radiohead!
Cons: Very short. And not available in Scotland!!
The Bottom Line: -
Review: Note: this is a _very_ short EP, therefore this review will be fairly short. This does not mean that any less effort has gone into the review, it merely means that there is less to write about than usual. Also, I tend not to be able to get as ...

Still The Best Band In The Universe (Pt 7)

by   brian_lettsin ,  Nov 17, 2007
Pros: Some of the finest B material from any known band on the planet
Cons: A bit short, not overly consistent
The Bottom Line: This is a fine addition to the collection of all Radiohead die-hards. A must-have for those blokes and blokettes.
Review: Some cars, of course, come equipped without the airbag. Such vehicles include the Rover 800, the Ford Escort MKII and the Chevrolet Woofer Mk IV. I wish to name and shame. I recall one car ride when listening to this Radiohead B-sides ...

Airbag Boasts Rich Texture of Radiohead's Rarities

by   floyd042 ,  Apr 4, 2002
Pros: Arguably Radiohead's best EP, excellent atmospheres
Cons: Includes Airbag, which you may already own
The Bottom Line: The EP is a collection of Radiohead rarities -- innovative songs demonstrating the band's ability to skillfully integrate spacey ambience and snarling guitars
Review: Perhaps the best EP/single released by Radiohead, Airbag/How Am I Driving is a richly textured journey through OK Computer-era rarities.

Sounds Familiar
The mini-album opens on the same note as OK Computer, as...

Driving Pretty Well

by   NinaNee ,  Nov 10, 1999
Pros: polyethylene... great song, new material
Cons: short cd
Review: This short Radiohead CD should be purchased by Radiohead fans mostly and only because it's really a good cd if you are a diehard Radiohead fan. There are seven songs, one of which can be heard on the Radiohead full length CD OK Computer...
