Hail To The Computers, OK Kid? Celebrating Radiohead #5 - Airbag EP

Date of Review:  Mar 25, 2004
The Bottom Line: -
Review: Note: this is a _very_ short EP, therefore this review will be fairly short. This does not mean that any less effort has gone into the review, it merely means that there is less to write about than usual. Also, I tend not to be able to get as...

B-Sides, Rare Gems, and Experimental Stuff from Radiohead, OH MY!

Date of Review:  Apr 22, 2003
The Bottom Line: "Airbag/How Am I Driving?" EP is an excellent record for hardcore Radiohead fans who enjoy the band's B-sides and unreleased tracks.
Review: Upon the release of "OK Computer" in July 1997, no band was garnering more acclaim than Radiohead did that year. By early 1998, the band was already achieving worldwide success as their previous albums "The Bends" and "Pablo Honey" were also selling...

Don't forget that you are our son

Date of Review:  Mar 26, 2009
The Bottom Line: This EP is a must have for fans. It is a worthy companion piece to OK Computer while managing to not retread the same ground (well, except for 'Airbag').
Review: This is going to be an awfully solipsistic, navel gazing review for the most part, so if you're just here for the 'consumer report' type stuff, you can skip down the last few paragraphs.

I'm going through one of those 'transitional' periods...

Still The Best Band In The Universe (Pt 7)

Date of Review:  Nov 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: This is a fine addition to the collection of all Radiohead die-hards. A must-have for those blokes and blokettes.
Review: Some cars, of course, come equipped without the airbag. Such vehicles include the Rover 800, the Ford Escort MKII and the Chevrolet Woofer Mk IV. I wish to name and shame.

I recall one car ride when listening to this Radiohead B-sides...

Airbag Boasts Rich Texture of Radiohead's Rarities

Date of Review:  Apr 4, 2002
The Bottom Line: The EP is a collection of Radiohead rarities -- innovative songs demonstrating the band's ability to skillfully integrate spacey ambience and snarling guitars
Review: Perhaps the best EP/single released by Radiohead, Airbag/How Am I Driving is a richly textured journey through OK Computer-era rarities.

I Want to Lie in the Middle of the Floor

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2002
The Bottom Line: The "Airbag/ How am I Driving" EP is a nice introduction to Radiohead. And although it can be hard to find it's worth it.
Review: This EP "Airbag/How am I Driving" can in many ways bee seen as the true bridge between 1997's land mark Grammy winning record "OK Computer" and 2000's I.D.M. influenced "Kid A". The record is just as rocking as the hardest moments on 'OK'("Paranoid...

Driving Pretty Well

Date of Review:  Nov 10, 1999
Review: This short Radiohead CD should be purchased by Radiohead fans mostly and only because it's really a good cd if you are a diehard Radiohead fan. There are seven songs, one of which can be heard on the Radiohead full length CD OK Computer ("Airbag")...

Is it a single? Is it an album? Does it matter?

Date of Review:  May 17, 2000
Review: I came across this while searching for any Radiohead album I did not currently have. I scooped it up without delay, and quickly popped it into my Discman. To be honest, I had downloaded half of the songs in mp3 form before I bought this. I can't...

A B-side for the fans

Date of Review:  Mar 15, 2000
Review: The Airbag/How Am I Driving release serves as a B-side release to the band's smash OK Computer album. Most of these songs being recorded during the OK Computer sessions, they continue in that album's style. All of the 7 tracks are new songs except...

For the true Radiohead Fans...

Date of Review:  Oct 10, 1999
Review: I bought this CD because I'm completely radiohead starved. I've bought all three albums and I'm now to the point where I'm buying all of their singles and small albums. I'm a HUGE fan of this band and I honestly believe that they're the best band on...
