The King and I: Air King 9723 Floor / Box Fan

In the middle of a scorching hot summer, a simple cooling device can be a man’s best friend (no offense roommates!). I came across this fan at my sister’s house during the spring, when it was almost equally as painful…I mean hot. As I crashed out on her couch after spring football practices every day for about two weeks straight, I came to know the Air King. We had what I like to call a LOVE-LOVE relationship. I loved it whenever I first laid on the couch, and I loved it whenever I woke up from my nap. She told me she had snagged the bad-boy from wal-mart. Once I heard that I couldn’t help it. I wanted my own Air King, so I made the trip and picked one up myself.

Price:
The Air King ran me for about $37.99. Pretty inexpensive I think for a quality fan like this one. I’ve seen fans of equal and even lesser quality cost more!

Speed:
The Air King has the standard Low, Medium, High speed levels. It’s a bit noisy on high, but that’s it. I always set it to medium and it was just fine.

Performance:
All I can say about the Air King’s performance is that you’ll have to try it out for yourself! I wouldn’t have went out and bought one if I had not first tried my sister’s.

My final recommendation to thy most humble consumer is to give the Air King a chance because I think you’ll be glad you did!
