Very big and very quiet

Pros: Quality machine, 10 year warranty and quiet operation.

Cons: Required by warranty to change filters every 6 months.

I bought the larger BlueAir 601 model because I wanted proper room coverage at the lower, quieter speeds.

I was not disappointed. The 601 has 4 speeds and is very quiet on the 2 lower ones. Speed 3 is also quiet with what I would consider a pleasant, low level white noise. I will probably use this speed 90% of the time. The highest speed is relatively noisy, so I "crank it up" when I'm out of the room.

The unit is big but roles very easily on our rug.

Lowest price I found was on ebay. $525 (Buy it now) shipping included. I got it at an auction for $505 total (I did pay an extra $10 for shipping insurance.
