HyperPen 8000 & 12000

Pros: Slightly better than the HyperPen 6000

Cons: Still too small an area to work-in. Kind of pricy for what you get.

The Bottom Line: If you can find the extra $$, skip over the 6000 & 8000 and get the 12000U, you will not be sorry for the price!

HyperPen 8000 & 6000 were good pads for beginers and getting started, but not a whole lot of quality as far as the scalling of the usable working area compared to your screen area.

The HyperPen 12000U has a 12x9" working area, and you do not have to make changes trying to get the pad area to match screen area.

Handwriting and drawing comes out much closer to Normal compared to the 8000 & 6000.

The 12000 produces quality close to the more expensive units from other companies.

At the top of the 120000 pad you have 24 programable F-key spots compared to the 12-15 on the others.

The 12000 also comes with a plastic tracing sheet for putting items under for tracing.

The Pen is the same as the one that comes with the 8000.
