Not good for business

Purchased this system for a church to replace a Panasonic that no longer would keep the handsets registered. Though it does have a number of good features, it lacks some important ones. We could not get the hold, announce call, then transfer feature to work & technical support was no help. It will transfer calls directly without any problem. Unlike the Panasonic phone we had, someone on another extention can easily listen in to another person's conversation as they attempt to get a dial tone (you have to select a line to make a call, but if you don't notice someone is using that line, you will hear the conversation until you switch lines). The voice quality is not as good as my old Panasonic phone. Thus, I have decided to return it. The AT&T was more expensive than some others & I was expecting something better, but was disappointed.
