-The Basics-
Guitar Hero on Tour is just like the normal guitar hero, but this time around theres a twist! Now Guitar Hero can be played on your Nintendo DS! For those of you who dont know, Guitar Hero is a video game in which you play a guitar, in this case, your DS. Instead of a normal guitar, there are just colored buttons that you press. There is only one string and no frets. Normally, there are 5 different buttons, although in this version of the game there are only 4. There are many different modes and songs to play which will result in endless hours of fun for just about everyone!
-Single Player-
When you play Single Player you can choose one of 5 options: Career, Guitar Duels, Quickplay, Practice, and Tutorial. Career is where you can play as if guitar was your actually career and try to pass as many songs as possible and make money. On here you can play a live show or go to the store to spend some of your cash! There are 5 places to perform live at that you can unlock for each difficulty. Guitar Duels allow you to play against another performer on the game for a song. On guitar duels you must put out fires, fix broken strings, avoid bombs, and mess up the other player while still hitting all of the notes! Quickplay is just simply that. You can play a song quickly. This is great for friends to use since you can only have 3 career accounts and they can still play songs and compete for high scores! Practice is basically like Quickplay and allows you to practice a song before you play it in your career. There are 4 different tutorials that explain things and walk you through while you even try them! The tutorials include the basics, star power (used for extra points), advanced (hammer ons and pull offs), and also guitar duels.
-Multiplayer-
Multiplayer uses Wi-Fi to play against other people around the world! You can either host or join a game. You will even have your own record that is kept! The only problem with the Multiplayer is that there is no way you can play multiplayer on one Nintendo DS, and also it takes a while to get a game going because there are not many people playing on the Wi-Fi. I prefer Single Player only because it takes too long to start Multiplayer!
-How to Play-
When playing Guitar Hero on Tour you first choose the song you want, the difficulty, and if you are just playing the song or playing in Career mode. The song will start to play and on the left screen you will see the notes and your performer. On the right side is the picture of a guitar which is where you strum the notes. The Guitar Grip goes inside the Gameboy Advance slot and that is where you hit the notes. The colors are green, red, yellow, and sometimes blue depending upon the difficulty you choose. You play the notes as the get close to the circles that appear on the bottom of the left screen. If you hit a sequence of the notes that appear as stars, you are given star power which will double your points for a short period.
-What is Included-
Inside the box you will find the DS game card, the guitar pick stylus, a case for the game, and the Guitar Grip. The guitar pick stylus fits into a spot below the guitar grip. The guitar grip slides into the Gameboy Advance slot in the Nintendo DS. I think the guitar grip should be designed better because it slides out so easily which makes you have to restart the game.

-Overall Recommendation-
This is one of my favorite Nintendo DS games and I highly recommend getting it except that you need to watch out for wrist cramps and I wish that the guitar grip had a better design. Everybody will have fun playing this game!
