great game, highly recommended.
Pros:
Touch screen guitar has good graphics. Ok sound. Would recommend this game to a friend.
Cons:
Character's graphics aren't that good-people aren't in sync. Still such a great game, undescribable.
The Bottom Line:
I would definitely recommend this game. It's fun and addicting, anyone who likes guitar hero should definitely get this game.

Author's Review
The day I got this game I was very excited and I expected this game was going to be really fun! I finally got a new guitar hero game, and I was right, it was a lot of fun! But the lack of songs was a bit of a letdown (26 songs), then again, what did you expect from a DS game?
The touch screen guitar is very detailed. The guitar even looks better than the wii version. Although the wii version isn't all that detailed, the wii generally has better graphics than a DS. It is unexpected for the DS to have better or equal graphics of the wii, since it is a small handheld, and not a big gaming console. I will talk about the regular screen with the characters and stages on it later in my review.
The sound quality is pretty good, which is surprising for a DS because you wouldn't think it would be great/ good because of its small speakers; like I said before, it being a small handheld rather than a big gaming console.
The graphics of the characters and venues are ok. Now when I said that the guitar had good graphics on the touch screen I didn't mean the other side had good graphics, in fact they really aren't that great at all. It's only the touch screen guitar that has good graphics. The characters and stages are a little blocky, but an odd upside is the hair flow of some of the guitarists are pretty good and smooth (ex. Pandora's hair). Bringing up the wii again, the DS hair actually flows more than the wii. The DS's hair isn't as stiff, where as the wii hair is very stiff and the hair barely moves. The singers mouth, the drummer, and the guitarist don't go in sync at all with the music, which is kind of annoying because in all the past games and guitar hero aerosmith, they go in sync, I think the DS could've handled it, really. That's about all I can say about the graphics.
The gameplay is fun and addicting and can keep you playing for hours. The ability to use a pick and strum the guitar gives it an edge of reality and fun. The game also features great music by, The los lonely boys, smash mouth, blink 182, daughtry, no doubt, ozzy osbourne, and more! so really check it out. (a con I couldn't fit in the cons, its hard to make yourself comfortable on the guitar grip so beware of that i spent about 2-3 minutes trying to find a comfy position for my fingers.)
So that's my review, coming from a kid who has the game.
And to the people that have no clue how this would work on a DS, basically you plug in the fret button clip thing(a.k.a guitar grip) into the gba slot inside the grip is the stylus pick, when u turn on the game and play a song there is a guitar on the right side(left for leftys) and on the left side is the note highway, when a note comes down on the highway you press the colored key and "strum" (or flick to make more sense) the pick on the right side guitar to play the note, I hope that helped, so please rate.
