A Jucier for People who actually Juice

Date of Review:  Feb 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you want to juice, get an acme and a 25lb bag of carrots and go wild
Review: Like regular exercise, good gas mileage and learning Spanish, juicing is one of those things that everyone loves to talk about doing but never really get there. Most of the juice extractors on the market seem to fit a similar bill, with the...

A Juicer for Serious Juicers

Date of Review:  Sep 2, 2008

Review: Acme is one of the oldest brands of juicers still producing. Many years ago, I think around twenty, Waring bought out the Acme company. Some Acme people went and formed their own company; that company now makes Omega juicers. The original Acme...

Can't go wrong with an Acme Juicer

Date of Review:  Sep 5, 2009
Review: I used the original Acme Juicer working in a health food store sandwich/smoothie bar, which tells you how tough these machines are. Anyone complaining about these being tough to clean has no idea, Acmes have only 6 moving parts, the lid, the filter...

Great Value

Date of Review:  Jan 18, 2005
Review: Just purchased the Acme 6001 on sale from Williams Sonoma for $130.
The Wall St Journal rated the Acme 6001 as the best juicer for the value.
I suggest buying the filters for an additional $5/box for easy clean-up.
The one downside is...

6001 Juicerator...still going after 30 years!

Date of Review:  Oct 15, 2006
Review: I purchased the 6001 model (stainless vs plastic basket) in 1976. I used the Juicerator a lot during the first year, then put it on the shelf and took it out about once a year to make apple juice in the Fall. One time I brought it to my daughter's...
