Panic! At the Disco is a band that was sign to fall out boy's Pete Wentz label Decaydance and wow you could see how good this up and coming Las Vegas band is, i mean they're not orginal but they're sure are pretty creative they put reference to things they like in pop culture like Fall Out Boy for example: "Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off" which is a line
from the movie Closer and this song is sexy and cool to bob your head too. The verses and chorus in the song and you know its gonna get your hormones raging ...haha
"Let's get these teen hearts beating.
Faster, faster!". PANIC! at the disco is extremely addicting i must warn you that I'm not saying thats a bad thing but I'm just saying that its not gonna leave your cd player for awile. Panic! At the disco is like techo/punk/emo/pop/rock but its all good. Other notable songs that i personally loved is the 1st song "Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage" which is freaking sweet opener and an awsome song. Heres a little snippet of the song& its the part that will get you hooked "Sit tight, I'm gonna need you to keep time
C'mon just snap snap snap your fingers for me". "London Beckoned Songs About Money Written by Machines" is an intresting song that takes shot at crtics like the Academy is... in "Black Mamba" for ex."Well we're just a wet dream for the webzines". Overall its a good song and that line that I just wrote gets into your head. "Camisado" this was the 1st song that got me into this band and let me tell u guys/girls u are gonna love it i mean the verses and chorus are just o so additicting and i think this is a Fight Club reference which is a great movie by the way the part I like about this song is the chorus when the singer is like "You can take the kid from the fight but can't take the kid from the fight" (sit back relax relaspe). The next song that I'm gonna talk about for a little bit about is I think what most people know from purevolume.com its called: "Time To Dance" which is another cool song that pumps you up like crazy...well it does for me. The lyrics in this song is pretty wierd lyrics with alot of gun references like for ex."You're pulling the trigger
Pulling the trigger all wrong" and "When I say "Shotgun" you say "Wedding" which by the way is one of the best parts in the song trust me. Theres more stuff about bullets and guts about this song but i don't feel like writing it down, but the song is so good that the lyrics don't really matter. Another song that I really like in the album is "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" which to me sounds like some guy's marriage is gonna be ruin because he's marrying a new wife's thats a well u know "What a shame the poor groom's bride is a well u know ." thats a line in the song by the way and oh boy thats a good line. Also a song that was intresting & worth noting was: "There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't thought of it" which has a 1920's vibe of jazz music in the background which at first I thought it was random and bizzare but after I listen to it again it made sense because it had the whole dance vibe to it, so i thought that was neat and orginal for a rock band. Another great highlight that I like in this song is the last song: "Build God, then we talk" I just thought that song was well really different because of the instruments used , the singing was a low than high kind of thing and just the whole sound of the song was easy to listen too. I must say I thought that was a great end to the song because it left you craving for some more.
oh yeah i almost forgot the singer sounds VERY similer to Patrick Stump for Fall Out Boy but hey they're still good and different from fall out boy except that some of their songs have long titles but thats cool
cop this album....
alrite PEACE
