You're A Regular Decorated Emergency

by   sandie7 ,  Apr 11, 2006
Pros: original, great lyrics, catchy
Cons: not long enough
The Bottom Line: -
Review: Panic! At The Disco are a band who come from Las Vegas. Like me you probably think Vegas does anyone actually live there? I thought they just went there, well they grew up there all members apart from one. The members are Ryan Ross (lyricist/guitarist), ...

Just a Wet Dream For The Web Zine

by   weevilite ,  Feb 12, 2008
Pros: Fantastically catchy music, great fun to listen to.
Cons: May sound a little too similar to Fall Out Boy for some.
The Bottom Line: 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' is an album I would recommend to all.
Review: With album number two due for release in March 2008, I thought that it was about time I got round to reviewing the bands debut album. Panic at the Disco (they've dropped the exclamation mark now don't you know) formed in 2005, and this debut album was ...

This Was a Therapeutic Chain of Events

by   aaryn ,  Dec 18, 2005
Pros: Singable and Danceable, Very Catchy.
Cons: Songs weren't very long, but that's about it.
The Bottom Line: If you like Fall Out Boy, you'll probably like P!ATD. Almost like FOB meets Franz Ferdinand meets...someone else with piano skills.
Review: “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” one CD that I’ve actually found worthy of the strain I endured to find it. Admittedly I’m a huge Fall Out Boy fan, so I decided to check out a few bands on Pete Wentz’s “Decaydance” label. The other bands, The Hush Sound, ...

Harlequin in Your Head

by   sommervillefob ,  Aug 29, 2006
Pros: Catchy, but in a sophisticated sort of way. The lyrical genius is beyond their years.
Cons: Most songs only have one verse and chorus that repeat themselves...a lot.
The Bottom Line: Why you ask? Because once you've tried, you're hooked; there's something mysterious and intriguing that is just what it takes to quench the musical dehydration this world suffers from.
Review: A Fever You Can't Sweat Out fell into my lap by pure chance. My friend is really into being one of the first people to "discover" bands before they commit radio suicide. So I fell in love with Panic! at the Disco many months ago. When their album ...

Pros: Fantastically written - it's clear that time was spent on this.

Pros: Fun, energetic, different, great Pop-Punk, Rock sound. classy and unique, cool lyrics.
Cons: Over produced, trying too hard, song titles too long, easily mistaken for Fall Out Boy,
Review: Panic! At the disco's debut album, "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out", is by far a great c.d. that should be listened to. What makes it great is the danceable music, and the fact that it's original and different. From club drum machine songs, to even old ...

Cons: May not be what you are used to
Review: I absolutely love this album. This band is one of the most original sounding i have ever heard, and they really are a change of pace from what I normally here. I am not a fan of emo at all, but i love this band. A lot of the songs on it are upbeat and i ...

Panic At the Disco’s feverish breakout is something you won’t easily sweat out

by   blackstar40 ,  Mar 5, 2006
Pros: The motion. The e-motion. The sex. The gimmicks.
Cons: It would benefit more from longer track names
The Bottom Line: ‘Let’s get these teen hearts beating faster. Faster
