Two Thumbs Up

The At&T 9340 is small and lightweight. You can hang it on the wall, or leave it flat on a table or desk. Like all cordless phones, the 9340 sometimes has a poor connection, but this is easily remedied by switching channels. It has an adequate caller-ID display and an internal phone book which is a very nice option. It stores up to twenty names and numbers but entering the information and/or scrolling through them can be somewhat tedious. One of my favorite things about this phone is that it can be extremely loud, or extremely soft. I think there are at least six different volume settings making it ideal for almost any conversation. The base is equipped with a handset locator button that if pushed once will make the handset let out a short three-beep ring. If you push and hold the locator button for 2 seconds, the phone will continue to beep until you push a button on the handset indicating that you've found it. The phone is very easy to use and boasts a sleek, stylish appearance. Being that it is light gray, it is sometimes hard to keep clean. Also, dirt and oil eventually build up under the display screen on the handset which is very hard to clean. But aside from that, I really have no complaints. This phone has served me well for several years.
