A Good Connection

I do not get excited about electronics the way some people do. I am happy when I find a phone or other electronics device that simply works.
The AT&T 9340 Cordless Phone is just that, a phone that works every time and is simple to use.

The best feature for me is the caller ID option. I like to screen my calls. Yes, I am one of those people who check to see who is calling before I pick up. I get so many nonsense calls and solicitations that if I do not screen the calls I would be on the phone all day!

The phone is small and yet is easily held between my shoulder and cheek when trying to do housework. The light gray color hides dirt and make-up well.(cleaning tip: makeup on the phone can be removed with alcohol). I also like the small stable antenna. I used to have a phone that had an antenna that had to be raised and lowered and it was broken in a matter of weeks. This antenna is rubber and small, no need to raise and lower it!

The AT&T 9340 has a long charge life. In other words, when I forget to put it on the base set at night it still works in the morning. I usually try to recharge the phone each night, but have not charged it for 3 days and it still works fine.

Other features are: speed dial, memory, call waiting flash. The AT&T 9340 also has a caller ID capacity of 99 numbers. This is especially important when going out of town for several days. I like to see who has been calling my home while I am out of town.It also is helpful when trying to take several messages. I can go back and check the numbers and caller name quickly!

Another wonderful feature is the directory/memory. I have entered phone numbers of family and friends that are dialed frequently and now it's not a matter of remembering or looking up a number in the phone book. I simply page through the directory, push 2 buttons and I am connected.

The AT&T 9340 Cordless Phone may not be the fanciest phone or the most stylish phone on the market, but it is small, reliable and it works when necessary. For a mere $79.99 it has been a good connection to the world around me.
