Annihilates nVidia

Pros:  Extremely Fast, Smooth, Consistency,Clarity, S-Video Connection

Cons:  Has a tendency to get hot under intense gaming.

The Bottom Line:  I know the price is a little steep, but if you have the money to spend I definately recommend this card. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

I purchased the card from Best Buy. After an easy installation of about 10 minutes I was testing the performance or the Radeon 9700 to the max while playing an intense game of Unreal Tournament 2003. The graphics at high resolution are just unbelieveable. I am up-grading from a gForce 4 Ti 4200, which I thought was a great card, but I would have to say the Radeon 9700 blows it out hands down. It can tend to run a little hot like I said, but the performance is just amazing. My computer is an HP with a 2.1 AMD Athlon Processor, 512 DDR SDRAM, 80G HD, with Windows XP, just to let you know what I am running. I have not had a single problem out of this system or the video card. The Radeon 9700 Pro turns the ordinary game into and extraordinary game!!
