A Great Answering Machine

The Bottom Line: Highly recommended in lieu of voice mail on a landline. Very well worth $18.

Until 2 weeks ago, I used a 10+ year old cassette tape answering machine, AM, for 2 reasons: it worked reliably until then, it had great sound quality, and I was able to archive tapes if needed...

Not Good...

Review: We bought one and I don't like it's sound quality at all. The incoming and outgoing messages sounds terrible (i.e. hollow, echo-like). We had the older 1717 model and that was much better in this respect for sure.
