XP 2000+ rocks!

Date of Review: Jul 27, 2003

The Bottom Line:  This processor is a tremendous value and it can run anything the average or above average user wants to run. Go! Go!
Using Intel processors is no longer even an option for me. Even if I had the money to waste. Why? This Athlon is cheaper than a comparable P4, much cheaper. It runs at 1.67 Ghz and is overclockable to a stable 1.875 Ghz. That rocks for me. And with a cheap ASUS board configured for 'Easy Overclocking' you don't even have to know how to set your dip switches. You can't beat this. You get a processor for sixty some odd dollars that wrecks a P4 1.7Ghz in performance and the P4 literally costs almost twice as much $130 (vs $68). Go AMD! Good job.
