Pros: can run 32/64 bit code, budget price
Cons: Socket 754 already superseded
The Bottom Line: The price difference between this and socket A is negligible, this is a better value for your $$$

Pros: AMD64 2800: TWICE AS FAST when compared to P4 2.8 or Athlon 2800
Cons: Double the price of a Sempron, requires 754 socket.
