Great headphones

Pros: rugged, high end sound quality

Cons: ear pads wore out after 10 years :-)

I set out to buy some great speakers about 10 years ago and I couldn't find any that I liked within my budget so I purchased a set of K141M headphones.
They sound excellent and they're still working well.
I've had to replace the ear pads a few times as they're made of very thin plastic and they melt if I leave them in the car.
Very rugged otherwise.
The sound is fantastic - I've heard things in my recordings that I haven't heard previously.
They need a bit of juice to drive them, so a small Walkman would need a headphone amp.
