Do NOT BUY

I would strongly recommend against buying these. The sound was pretty good (had done a side-by-side comparison against the Bose product) but the quality is horrible. I had a pair for 10 months when the wire broke internally and led to sound out of only one channel. As it was less than one year Targus did replace under warranty. I had the same problem with the second pair in less than 3 months of use, and when I finally had a chance to follow up with Targus (a couple of months later) they refused to do anything about it. This is an obvious design issue !

Keep in mind that I only used them while flying. They were gently handled and only stored in the case provided by Targus and the cord was never tightly wound or kinked. Stay away from this product.
