Targus finaliy decided to refund my money after I exchanged this product 5 times. Four times, the problem was the same: the left phone quit working. For another, the unit gave me that annoying "boon" noise, and for the last one, the unit came unglued at the hinge.
I still like the sound and the noise cancelling function, but I have lost confidence in Targus products completely. The customer service maintains that what I experienced was not usual, but I would not be surprised at all if this product is withdrawn from the market very quietly.
