Overall, the Breville is better!

Date of Review: Jun 13, 2009

Originally I had the Breville Juicer and was happy with it's speed, ease of use and quickness to clean.  However, I did notice that the pulp was not the driest.  I sold the Breville on Amazon and bought the Omega and after 3 three uses, I am going back to the Breville.  Although the pulp of the Omega was very dry, more so that the Breville, the time it takes to prepare the veggies/fruits and labor of pushing them through the smaller chute sucks the marrow out of juicing.  Likewise, I wasn't a fan of the plastic auger, especially compared to the stainless steel centrifuge on the Breville.  Not to mention the difference in amount of juice from carrots and celery that each machine produced is negligible.  Even with the leafy veggies the difference didn't seem to be too much.

Pros
Pulp is modestly drier.
Cons
Slow.  Labor intensive when compared to the Breville.  Plastic parts.
