Great little machine

by   teddysmum ,  Feb 3, 2008
Pros: Fantastic for what you pay for it.
Cons: It's only 6 cups.
Review: I bought this a couple years ago on Black Friday at Walmart for only $12. Heck of a deal. It's great and handy too. I just need something bigger sometimes, but I'd highly recommend this for a small budget. ...

My sous chef

by   travislclever ,  Apr 9, 2007
Pros: easy to use. low noise level compared to other cheap models.
Cons: not a heavy duty machine. light use recomended.
The Bottom Line: Great bargain for a beginner cook
Review: One of my older Epinions that I wrote was on the Cuisinart DFP 11 cup food processor. I love my Cuisinart, but this weekend, a tragedy struck my home. I was making a batch of brownies this weekend. I use my food processor for everything. I added my ...

A Surprisingly Good Machine!

by   consumerly ,  Jul 31, 2007
Pros: light weight, relatively quiet, inexpensive
Cons: None based on my requirements
The Bottom Line: I have no reservations in recommending this machine for average kitchen tasks.
Review: I was not looking for a monstrously large, heavy, or expensive food processor. I leave that for the professional chef. I was looking for a small compact unit, one that was good for making occasional coleslaw, or grinding up graham crackers for a pie ...

Works great, so far

by   tedantal ,  Dec 15, 2007
Pros: Price, ease of cleaning, speed, quiet running, low profile, price
Cons: Kind of a large foot print. Also, I'm not sure how durable it is.
Review: I usually don't have the time to write reviews but in this case I thought credit was due. I had an old processor that literally fell apart...plastic piece by plastic piece! So I did some research and was just about to buy a Kitchen Aid when the ...

Good product but problem after only 8 months of use.

by   hellera ,  Dec 14, 2007
Pros: Efficient, does good job of chopping, very fast.
Cons: Fair at grating, large chunks remain. Cracked bowl not covered by warranty.
Review: This small food processor is very efficient. It even does a better job of chopping than my super-sized Cuisinart. However, after only 8 months of use, the bowl developed a crack. When I called customer service, I was told that the warranty only covers ...
