Oster 6330 4-Slice Toaster

My wife bought the 2 slice version of this toaster at Target about a month ago. Yesterday, for the first time, we tried the Bagel setting (for thick bread according to the manual) to toast hamburger buns. Burned the tops! With our previous toaster (B & D, I think) the bagel setting toasted only one side of the bagel, bun, or whatever, so I thought we bought a defective unit. I exchanged it, only to learn that rather than toast only one side, the Bagel setting is supposed to make the toaster adjust for a thicker bread. Forget it!

In addition, my daughter informed me that the toaster also nuked her frozen waffles when she tried the Frozen setting. The Warm setting button seems to only shorten the toasting time. (You already have a knob button for that.)

If you just want to toast toast, it does a good job. Otherwise, you're wasting your money. I'm taking this one back and getting a different brand.

Note: We have a new Oster Beehive blender that works well, but I recommend ear protection.
