Passable but not worth much praise

Date of Review:  Aug 2, 2006
The Bottom Line: It would depend on what you wanted to use it for. Trying to clean with it, then no! Taking up storage space, then yes!
Review: I bought this unit as an intermediate solution for cleaning the floors in my house. I have a Dyson DC15 Animal for dry vacuuming and a Hoover Agility for serious, hard floor cleaning. I thought that this little baby would be good for the bathroom...

Bissell Vacuum is Not Worth the Retail Price

Date of Review:  Jan 15, 2008
The Bottom Line: If you want to clean seriously, don't buy this vacuum. You'll be disappointed with its performance.
Review: The Bissell/Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum is not worth the retail price because of its shoddy performance.
I bought it at Walmart for $40.00 and the wet vacuum doesn't work after 6 months of weekly uses.

It looks great at first, but it...

Disappointed

Date of Review:  Sep 6, 2007
The Bottom Line: This product was poorly made and is not worth the money. I love the idea behind it but this is not the product to fill the need in the marketplace.
Review: I have used this product for over two years. I have mostly hardwood and tile in my house and bought this product because I wanted and easier way to keep my floors clean. With three children at home the floors are constantly dirty. I use this product...

Good product for minimum expectations

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it if you prefer frequent but quick cleaning of the floors and not waiting a long time for the floors to dry.
Review: I have read the reviews here and decided to buy this product. Now, it is not an absolute replacement for the old mop and pail system, but it's very good for frequent mopping on high-traffic hard floor areas. For occasional thorough cleaning, use the...

Worth two times what I paid!

Date of Review:  Feb 6, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great product for the money you invest.
Review: I have to say WOOOHOOO! I can't believe I have FINALLY found something that nearly replaces the mop bucket.

I bought the Flip It after seeing it on TV. I have two dogs and an active (read: grubby) eight year old not to mention a husband...

In two words "It Sucks!"

Date of Review:  Mar 4, 2008
The Bottom Line: Just stick with the mop and bucket.
Review: I just got it home and was really excited about the possibilities this product could bring. I have an 11 month old little girl and she is constantly on the move. It's more important now than ever that my floors are spotless, and I was hoping that...

Effective for what it is designed to do

Date of Review:  May 16, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you want to be certain of the cleanliness of ones hardfloors and one wants a unit that is quick, easy, efficient, and reasonably affordable, then buy one.
Review: I purchased a Bissell Flip-It model 5200 about two months ago. I am pleased with this purchase overall. However, it does have a few weaknesses. First, the positive aspects. I find the unit works reasonably well with dry mode although the suction...

Decent job

Date of Review:  Dec 16, 2006
Review: Like most products today, people clearly haven't read the instructions.

For every bad review I've read here, it's clear that they didn't read the instructions!

1) they say to VACUUM FIRST
2) they say to ONLY squirt on the...

Date of Review:  Jun 8, 2006
The Bottom Line: It's good for quick cleanings I wouldn't rely on it for in depth cleaning because its incapable of picking up fine particles
Review: If only manufacturer's of bare floor cleaning products could figure out a way to ensure that the suction on the floors was strong enough to suck up the dirt!

Being a pet owner in Colorado, I'm plagued by dust and pet hair (especially...

Flips but doesn?t clean very well.

Date of Review:  Apr 29, 2008
The Bottom Line: The dry vacuum is not very good and the wet vacuum could use improvement. I would avoid this product.
Review: I was looking for an easy way to clean my tile floors downstairs. They are dark brown tiles, and most products such as the Swiffer left a streaky sheen on the dark tiles. I am not very good with a bucket and mop and the cats run around on the wet...
