Rich mans rides

I bought a couple of issues of Petersons four wheel and off road, at first there were a few articles that I enjoyed. The more issues I bought off the news stand the more I disliked the magazine. There were still some articles for the average day person to read and imply to there vehicles. I think that a majority of there articles deal with someone else doing the work to the vehicles. It's got a lot of good articles just that it's not something that you and your buddies could do in a couple of weekends in your garage for a fair price. You would have to go out and buy special tools and all kinds of parts. I thought at first that this magazine was going to be the kind that showed or talked about things you could do to your rig to improve the off road ability with out a lot of hassle. These articles contained stuff that would break the average mans bank account. I myself have the money to do a lot of things to my ride but because of the time it would take to do some of the things the talked about is seemed like it would have been easier to have someone do it for me. I love to turn wrenches but I don't want something that is going to take up all my time. Don't get me wrong this magazine has a lot of good stuff that I have used. Little tips and tricks for the trails.
