Patterson's Downward Spiral

Date of Review:  Apr 19, 2004
The Bottom Line: Die Hard Fans ONLY!
Review: Dear Mr. Patterson:

Within the past year I have become a huge fan of your novels, the Alex Cross series, the Women's Murder Club series started most recently, as well as your stand alone books. The first book I read by you was passed to me...

Three Time's A Charm? Third Time Does Some Harm.

Date of Review:  May 20, 2004
The Bottom Line: This is a short review because I hate this book. There. I said it.
Review: 3rd Degree was released in early March to stale reviews and slow sales with critics and fans alike wondering if James Patterson s reign on the book industry was over. Why did I try it then? Anticipation. Since I finished 1st To Die and 2nd Chance,...

3rd Degree - the third time was not the charm.

Date of Review:  Oct 16, 2008
The Bottom Line: The series is decent, but this book is pretty bad.
Review: 3rd Degree is the third book in The Women's Murder Club series. Most of the books are written as collaborations. In this case James Patterson has paired with Andrew Gross. The series features four women who work together to solves crimes in...

Death Reaches The Women's Murder Club In Patterson's 3rd Degree

Date of Review:  Jul 5, 2007
The Bottom Line: While it isn't as good as the first two, Patterson has crafted a story that just will not let you go until the reader is on the last page.
Review: When I read the front cover of James Patterson s 3rd Degree which says someone in the Women s Murder Club is about to die I knew I had to have the book. You see, I have become hooked on this series and have grown very fond of Lindsay, the homicide...

3rd Degree Marks Big Changes for the Women's Murder Club

Date of Review:  May 18, 2009
The Bottom Line: This is a light but enjoyable thriller.
Review: James Patterson has built an empire out of writing (or co-writing) fast paced thrillers. 3rd Degree is his third novel about four women in San Francisco. Lindsay is a homicide inspector, Claire is a medical examiner, Jill is an assistant district...

No One is Safe From Patterson

Date of Review:  May 19, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you're reading this series, it's a must. I'm hoping 4th of July doesn't kill off anyone else!
Review: James Patterson is a master in grabbing the reader from page one and not letting go until the very end. The Women s Murder Club books not only grasp you from the beginning, they never release you, leaving you anxiously awaiting the next installment...

Women's Murder Club vs August Spies!

Date of Review:  Jun 22, 2006
The Bottom Line: Thoroughly enjoyable - Patterson continues to produce eminently readable lightweight reading.
Review: "The Women's Murder Club", introduced to legions of new fans in "1st To Die" and continued to wonderful effect in "2nd Chance", is an intelligent, plausible, modern idea whose time has come. Lindsay Boxer, a police lieutenant in charge of San...
