I love my hybrid!
Pros:
Gas mileage, peppy, comfortable, "cool", environmentally responsible
Cons:
Not the fastest car in the world...
The Bottom Line:
This car is reasonably priced and delivers on all promises... Overlooking it because it's "just a Civic" would be a mistake!

Author's Review
I bought my 2008 Civic Hybrid 3 weeks ago, and have put 2,500 miles on it so far (just to give you an idea of how "educated" this review is). I bought this car for relief from gas prices, but honestly never expected to love it so much! It's sporty, very cool looking, and is quite peppy. It's also comfortable and roomy on the inside. Granted, it's not a sports car and if you're looking for 0-60 fast enough to whip your head back, this isn't the car for you. But it has just as much power as any other 4 cylinder. I used to own a 2001 civic, and this car has noticeably more power than that one did. I also feel like this new version has a lot more "toys" inside, my favorite being the plug for my ipod, and of course the 8 airbags.
Obviously, the gas mileage is wonderful. The sticker advertised 40/45 mpg, but I'm actually doing better with 42.7 mpg in the city, and 51.6 mpg highway. At one point I was up to 54.1 mpg on the highway, but then we went over a mountain pass and that ruined it.
I've heard this car described as being "perfect for a teenager with a new license, or retired folks on a fixed income", but I think the spectrum of drivers who would be happy in this car is much, much wider than that. I love the gas mileage, I love being environmental responsible, and I love having a fun car to drive- and I don't fall into either of those 2 categories.
Anyone looking to save gas or for a hybrid in particular, I recommend this sweet ride!
