Author's Review
There are many car to choose in this field, Honda Accord, Toyota Camary, Mazda 6, and many GM cars. After looking at and researching all of them, Hyundai Sonata was the car I choose. First I bought the LX model. The only options that the car offered was a sunroof and a upgrade on the radio. I got them all and it was worth the extra money. Even with ever option, the Sonata was $5000 less then a same equiped Accord or Canary. I found the styling in and out to be great, but not eye popping. Every thing is layed out well and easy to use. Seated are firm, but confortable with great leg room. I am 6' and have plenty of room in the front and back seat. Dashboard is laid out like most cars, My V6 has the top speed as 160 mph, which is not needed. If it was marked as 120mph it would put the highway speed of 55-65 at the top. With the smooth ride of the car, you can be doing 85mph and not even know it. It is very quiet inside. A little engine noise if you hit it hard, but at idle you may think the engine had stopped. Trunk is very large and should hold everything a family of 4 could take on a trip. Cup holder are easy to reach, but will take out the 5 seat for the back if used. Do your research before you go car shopping. This new Sonata is something different then they ever sold. The one thing that maybe bad is the resale value of the car, it is hard to say on this one. Hyundai has not been the best in this area, But with the 10 year warranty plan to keep the car for awhile.
