The Ridgeline is an excellent vehicle, and when you take the effort to really compare feature for feature, the Ridgeline is well priced for the vehicle you get. My Ridgeline has served me well for bringing home the 500lb cabinet table saw I bought, the wood and parts I needed to build a couple entertainment units for the family and carry all the luggage needed for 7 people for a 10 day cruise (never again, I couldn't see anything out the back but it was great just the same).
If you have light duty needs, don't really want to go deep off road but have the need of some medium duty off-roading, and want a nice ride in a well appointed vehicle, there is nothing like the Ridgeline from any other truck maker out there. If you offered me any other truck in exchange I wouldn't take it, no matter which size.
The seats are comfortable, the heating/ac is top notch, the ride is smoother than many cars I have been in, and even when heavily loaded it handles like a dream. It was also the only midsized truck that I was able to comfortably sit in the back seat.
Oh and did I forget to mention the trunk?! This trunk is just an amazingly cool feature. I can fit two full sized suitcases in the trunk and lock them away out of sight. It also makes a great ice chest, put all the drinks for a family reunion in there with a couple blocks of ice and we had nice cool drinks all day (it isn't insulated so don't expect it to last forever, but still great for a half day with block ice).
