Pros: Affordable, powerful v6, quiet, comfortable, stylish.
Cons: No release button for the trunk. No locking gas cap. Steering wheel not quite centered.
The Bottom Line: Spunky and sporty car that will allow you to relive the nostalgia of the late 1960s at an affordable price. You'll be proud to own a new Mustang V6.

Review: When I first saw sketches of the new 2005 Mustang in auto magazines I knew in my heart that I would one day own one. My first car was the 1969 Mustang Mach 1. I really loved it. The 2006 Mustang that I purchased brought back all the good memories...

Pros: V6 now worthy of the car, excellent value for the money
Cons: Low on refinement, traction in the wet, all of the expected weaknesses
The Bottom Line: The Mustang finally has a worthy base engine. Just get better tires and you'll be set.

Review: Last spring I wrote a glowing review of the 2005 Mustang GT. It wasn't a perfect car--far from it. But as with the best cars its styling tells you everything you need to know, both the good and the bad. And every bit comes together to form a...

Pros: Great styling, V8 power, good handling, roomy interior, affordable
Cons: Notchy shifter, clunky suspension
The Bottom Line: Now that some of the hype has blown over, you can buy one for a fair price. Go for it!

Review: If you're in the market for a V8-powered, rear-drive musclecar, the Mustang GT is a great way to go. I looked at the new GTO (bland styling) and the Charger (no manual transmission), but with it's updated retro styling, 5-speed, and roomy interior,...

Pros: Fun to drive, looks great, crazy speed.
Cons: Gas mileage, lack of features, price.
The Bottom Line: Yeah, it's small, and loud, and a little uncomfortable. But what did you expect? It's a sports car. Buy the V8! You won't regret it. Fun to drive, great looking.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: After reading a few reviews here, I had to add my opinion.
The mustang is meant to be a V8 car. Sure, it's a gas hog. But if you're gonna go, go big. I find it an offensive corruption of muscle car nostalgia that Ford even made the Mustang... |

Pros: It has the stuff to be a "proper" American Muscle Car.
Cons: Needs interior trunk release. The automatic is reluctant to downshift - programming?
The Bottom Line: I give Ford credit for building this thing. They could have stayed with bean-shaped cars and played it safe and dooned themselves. This is a very good car.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: It lives in the garage. It almost never sees rain or, god forbid, snow. The car is two years old and has 8000 miles on it. It's pristeen. Why? Because its a Mustang worthy of this much care.
Some people at Ford had a better idea. The... |

Pros: look, price, intangible appeal
Cons: bland performance, cheap interior bits
The Bottom Line: Buy it for looks, not for performance.

Review: This is a review of the 2006 Mustang coupe, six cylinder.
The Ford Mustang was redesigned completely for 2006. This review is broken down by category. EXTERIOR: The new "retro" styling hearkens back to the muscle Mustangs of the late... |

Pros: Nice handling, super looks
Cons: Not tough enough for a sports car audience to drive.

Review: This car has had to have the rear axle rebuilt at 12000 miles. It is once again at the dealers having some module and a deverter valve replaced. Yeah it's a really pretty car but I don't think I'm going to keep it. Looks like a problem car that if...
