A proper review of the GT convertible. Stop your V6 whining!

Pros: Classic muscle car, and highest initial quality reports, plus usability unmatched in class.
Cons: For me, not much, except maybe I wish mods and upgrades were cheaper- LOL
The Bottom Line: Don't compare to foreign convertibles, and look for a used one with factory warranty. Forget the V6
Review: Enough with the V6 Reviews - I agree that the V6 engine is pretty crappy. Not enough engine for the noise, and not enough power for the gas mileage. First, a little background on how my love affair happened-- I was wanting a convertible, and ...

A young man's car...

Pros: Chassis. Engine note. Stereo. Seats. "Muscle Car" personality. Uses regular fuel.
Cons: Grabby clutch. "Muscle Car" personality. Interior materials.
The Bottom Line: A true modern Muscle car. If you love this type of car, there is none better for the money. If you don't, why are you even reading this?
Review: Apologies to women for the title, but "young person's car" just doesn't have the right ring to it, especially for the GT. I fell in love with the '06 Mustang's styling the first time I saw it. Finally, after so many years of the Fox-platform, Ford ...

Pros: Fast,Looks Good
Cons: Rear seats
The Bottom Line: Great car!
Review: I drove this on a test drive, and I'm impressed. There's no better car on the market. Someone told me that there's a new Camaro coming out. I don't want it. I don't want to even drive it. There's no comparison, as the Mustang has returned! The Stangs of ...

Pros: It is a rocket. No question about it.
Quality was indeed job#1
Cons: No autoshift?
The Bottom Line: Oh yeah I recomend this one- BUT don't waste your time on the V6 model, pony up for the GT V8.
Review: Ever since I was a 'lil guy, I've always wanted my own muscle car and ever since I saw a certain movie called Bullitt that stared the king of cool, Steve McQueen; I've wanted a Mustang. The only problem was when I was getting my licence (2001) the then ...

Pros: ~Nice modern style of the 60's
~Tons of features available Cons: ~Gas mileage might not be up to certain people's want or need
The Bottom Line: This is a car drivable in the city, highway, or even long distance.
Review: 2006 was another great year for the mustang. It holds the "new-age" version of the 60's mustang as the body style. The new body style mustang is only a year old, which could be good because they probably worked out the kinks from it's debut in 2005. I ...

Pros: Sporty looks, Good MPG. FUN!
Cons: it's not a truck - I'm gonna miss my truck.
The Bottom Line: Until they build a truck that gets 26 MPG then a nice sporty car that does will do the trick.
Review: I just purchased a 2006 Ford Mustang with Pony package and 5 speed. It is also a "Stampede" edition which is basically just a different emblem on back and badge on interior - but only 500 made. I was interested in something with good gas mileage, ...

I love my 2006 Ford Mustang v6

Pros: Affordable, powerful v6, quiet, comfortable, stylish.
Cons: No release button for the trunk. No locking gas cap. Steering wheel not quite centered.
The Bottom Line: Spunky and sporty car that will allow you to relive the nostalgia of the late 1960s at an affordable price. You'll be proud to own a new Mustang V6.
Review: When I first saw sketches of the new 2005 Mustang in auto magazines I knew in my heart that I would one day own one. My first car was the 1969 Mustang Mach 1. I really loved it. The 2006 Mustang that I purchased brought back all the good memories from ...

Love this car, but in V8 only!

Pros: Fun to drive, looks great, crazy speed.
Cons: Gas mileage, lack of features, price.
The Bottom Line: Yeah, it's small, and loud, and a little uncomfortable. But what did you expect? It's a sports car. Buy the V8! You won't regret it. Fun to drive, great looking.
Review: After reading a few reviews here, I had to add my opinion. The mustang is meant to be a V8 car. Sure, it's a gas hog. But if you're gonna go, go big. I find it an offensive corruption of muscle car nostalgia that Ford even made the Mustang in a V6. ...

Two years with my 06 V6 Mustang

Pros: It has the stuff to be a "proper" American Muscle Car.
Cons: Needs interior trunk release. The automatic is reluctant to downshift - programming?
The Bottom Line: I give Ford credit for building this thing. They could have stayed with bean-shaped cars and played it safe and dooned themselves. This is a very good car.
Review: It lives in the garage. It almost never sees rain or, god forbid, snow. The car is two years old and has 8000 miles on it. It's pristeen. Why? Because its a Mustang worthy of this much care. Some people at Ford had a better idea. The competition was ...

Pros: engine pick-up and power
comfort (front driver and passenger)
overall ride
style
Cons: interior noise
interior trim/molding
Traction Control touchy
back seat space
dashboard noise
The Bottom Line: I would buy this car again- and I am a very picky car person. Great bang for buck.
Review: This being my second Mustang, it is by far the best. It far exceeds the previous models (99-04) and is fun to drive, stylish, and a great deal at the same price as other comparable cars with half the guts and style this car has. The 2006 Base model ...
