The 60 most fun miles of my day.

Date of Review:  Feb 5, 2006
The Bottom Line: It the little sports car with superb performance thats big and safe enough for the family of 4.
Review: I bought my A3 about 4 weeks after they were released in the US. I've now got almost 20,000 miles on it and have enjoyed every mile.

I have a 60 mile daily commute, which is a good combination of open and mountainous freeway driving. The...

A stylish and enjoyable ride.

Date of Review:  Sep 6, 2005
The Bottom Line: All quirks and nits aside, buy it for the ride and enjoy it.
Review: I commute at least 80 miles each day and while I enjoy driving I have tended to lease practical cars for many years and have been driving a lot of Subarus most recently. I intended to go for another practical commuter car this time (another Subaru,...

I love it, lots of fun.

Date of Review:  Nov 15, 2005
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this car. Well built, fun to drive, great styling, what else could you ask for (except for a lower price...)
Review: I've owned a few sporty cars, BMW M5, Mercedes 190 six speed, triumph tr6. The A3 shows the engineering maturity that comes with a 2006 car. The car is a hoot to drive on the highway. It scoots right along and the turbo does it's job. I'm a little...

The best of the TT and A4 -- Audi A3 3.2 quattro

Date of Review:  Apr 11, 2006
The Bottom Line: The best combination of sportiness, comfort, and performance in a very stylish compact car. Takes advantage of all the latest technology to make driving fun and safe.
Review: I recently traded in my 2004 TT 3.2 quattro for an Audi A3 3.2 quattro. As a friend said, "You bought a back seat," which is exactly true. I got the same engine and same (incredible) direct shift gearbox (light years above tiptronic), but the...

Crappy car

Date of Review:  Dec 29, 2006
Review: I've got my Audi A3 Sportback since december 2004. 1 month after I got it the problems started. I have now 61000km (37200 miles) on my counter

cute, fantastic punch, good handling--contrasted by awful lease deals

Date of Review:  Dec 23, 2005
The Bottom Line: This car at $30,000 fully loaded is doable, but current lease deals are horrible. For $375-$400/month, this would be a great alternative to a lot of boring Japanese cars.
Review: The lease on my 2003 BMW 3 series convertible expires in March '06. The BMW is nice, but the service has been spotty and I don't really need such a high car note. I'd resigned myself to return to Japanese cars but took the A3 for a test drive on the...

For the Brand?

Date of Review:  Oct 27, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you want sporty and inexpensive buy a WRX, if you want performance and a more luxurious interior buy a A4.
Review: On paper the Audi A3 sounds like a rather fun little car. A turbo 2L small Audi. After driving the car, I am not really sure why Audi even built this car? The dealer seemed to lose all interest in my friend and I when we mentioned we wanted to...

Bad Clutch

Date of Review:  Feb 14, 2007
Review: Good looking design, comfortable. Small but room enough for the whole family. We like the car for cutting edge styling and the tight feel.

Audi A3 5 door (sportsback)

Date of Review:  Apr 11, 2006
Review: Audi for once again put down her best character and created one of the best compact cars. For 10 years Audi is first at the compact class category with Audi A3.
Once again the Audi A3 Sports back pairs the height quality materials with the...

A3 GREAT CAR

Date of Review:  Sep 13, 2006
Review: This car was recommended to us by a friend who writes car reviews for a living. We now have 20,000 miles on the clock and still love it as much as the day we bought it. We needed a car a baby would fit in but didn't want to get something boring...
