A festival of design flaws (You want thorough? I'll give you thorough!)

Date of Review:  Apr 26, 2006
The Bottom Line: Loaded with design flaws masquerading as cool developments. There are other, much more drivable hybrids.
Review: I had every intention in the world of buying the Prius ... until I test drove one.

There are now several hybrid-engine cars available. I intend to buy one, but it won't be the Prius. The designers have had so much fun making the car...

Fantastic vehicle

Date of Review:  Jul 30, 2005
The Bottom Line: Everyone should drive one of these because you'll save money on gas, and help save the planet in the bargain.
Review: I waited 8 months to get my Prius, and finally received in in October 04. I've been driving it now for 9 months.

I ordered Tideland Pearl for my Prius' color--really it's kind of a 'light ash' color with the barest hint of green (my wife...

Love at first drive

Date of Review:  Mar 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone of all ages. It is a joy to own and drive and in my humble opinion, an incredible value!
Review: I read somewhere that Prius is Latin for "to go before". A clever name for a very clever car.

The Toyota Prius is a Hybrid vehicle. It uses both a gasoline motor and a Ni-MH battery in conjunction with each other to give you optimum gas...

Exceeds all Expectations

Date of Review:  Nov 21, 2005
The Bottom Line: Best car for the money, a pleasure at the pump.
Review: I have had the 2005 Prius for under a week and I wonder how I ever got by without it. I got the totally stripped down version, but had them add leather seats. When it comes to stripped down cars, rarely does one find power everything with automatic...

A Great Car!

Date of Review:  Oct 10, 2005
Review: This car is roomier and zippier than you might imagine. Even the back seats are quite roomy in the 2005 model. It has all of the creature comforts of a standard to luxury automobile and you can't beat the fuel consumption (47 mpg when I first bought...

Even my Wife loves it

Date of Review:  Oct 5, 2006
The Bottom Line: You owe it to yourself to check out this car. It is a technological marvel. 95% of owners would buy again!
Review: I purchased my 2005 Prius in March of 2005 after a 9 month wait. Since then I've put 51,000 miles on the vehicle and have kept detailed mileage records and maintenance costs. My 32 mile (one way commute consists of about 5% stop and go, 30% 2 lane...

Prius is a dream come true

Date of Review:  Dec 11, 2006
The Bottom Line: Love it!
Review: I bought my Prius brand new a year ago this past November. I took a job that required me to commute 60 miles a day in LA traffic and figured the Prius would be my answer to many stressful days sitting on the 405. In the state of California Prius...

The best car out there

Date of Review:  Jul 9, 2005
Review: The Toyota Prius is the best car I have ever drove. The gas millage is untouchable and the features are like those of a concept car. I found the audio system is quite good. This makes a good car for everyday driving and it has the sports car look...
