Steady Consistancy...but boring

Date of Review:  Jul 23, 2007
The Bottom Line: More than adequate in most catagories. Isolated soft ride not for everyone
Review: It is very difficult to find fault with the Toyota Camry. It's smoothness, comfort, safety, and reliability are legendary. But I found that in driving it, I was very much isolated from the driving experience. It is, in my humble opinion, the car...

Camry xle v6: boring but solid car

Date of Review:  Mar 8, 2005
The Bottom Line: Overall this is a great car for the money and is very practical but not too fun to drive :(
Review: INTRO
I recently was in the need of a new car after my old car, a 1998 Honda Accord LX, was totalled in an accident. I wanted something with the same reliability of the Accord which went 75000 miles with no problems. I also wanted something...

The Camry just keeps getting better!

Date of Review:  Oct 27, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is our open road family car. It is the ideal commuter for me as well, for all the reasons I stated in my review.
Review: Our family has four Camry's, a 1992, two 1994's, and a 1996. I put well over 200,000 miles on my 94 LE V6 before giving it to my youngest daughter. I would say it has at least another 100,000 trouble free miles of service in it.
When we went...

Toyota - Reliable and Uncomfortable

Date of Review:  Mar 20, 2007
Review: My 2005 Camry LE (bought 11/04) has 32,000 miles and is an overall solid car. The 4 Cylinder engine is adequate. The transmission shifts strangely in the cold and when accelerating up a hill. The acceleration by wire acts funny when traveling at...

2005 Camry XLE 4Cyl - Best Car

Date of Review:  Jul 9, 2006
The Bottom Line: Buy a Toyota Camry and it will save you money, and will be extremely reliable.
Review: I bought a new 2005 Camry XLE 4cyl with almost all the bells & whistles - power everything, heated seats, CD player with surround sound, leather seats, etc. I have to say it is the best car I have ever owned or even had the opportunity to drive. It...

Another Camry...SO?

Date of Review:  Mar 3, 2005
Review: The Camry pleases again with its great fit and finish, quiet cabin, remarkable quality and isolating atmosphere. Still too bland and uninvolved however (yes even the V6-SE), but if 'boring appliance' works then why change it?
Vanilla is still a...

2005 Toyota CAMRY, a winner for all

Date of Review:  Feb 5, 2007
The Bottom Line: This is the best of many nice vehicles I have driven. I would not hesitate to take it across the Grand Old U.S.A.
Review: No Vehicle would appeal to everyone but the TOYOTA CAMRY is a crowd-pleaser. It is quiet, comfortable, nimble, and affordable. I see them everywhere. After six months of driving this one, a used 2005 LE Model, and many test drives of others, I...

2005 Toyota Camry Solara Convertible

Date of Review:  Aug 7, 2005
Review: This car is a beauty. I bought the base model SE-V6 to avoid the leather seats in the SLE-V6. This car rides very well, gets 33 MPG on the highway, and is appropriately quiet with the top up. The upgraded sound system is terrific. The engine is very...

Should have purchased the Accord

Date of Review:  Oct 31, 2005
Review: When my 2004 Honda Accord was totaled I compared the 2005 Accord to the Camry. It was a seeming tossup with small differences so, since my major consideration was mpg which was similar, I let price dictate my choice. I was very happy with my Camry...

2005 Camry SE 2.4 liter 4 Cylinder

Date of Review:  Nov 27, 2005
The Bottom Line: Recommend because it works well all around.
Review: I bought this car 4 months ago. The only major issue I have with it is the transmission. Slowing down to less than 5 mph and then accelerating (without coming to a complete stop) causes the transmission to kick into gear slightly lurching the car...
