Luxurious Bargain

Date of Review:  Dec 18, 2007
The Bottom Line: This car is definitely a quality car. The ride is smooth and quiet. It has the feel of a luxury car but at an affordable price.
Review: As a 20-something year old, most of my peers are not interested in a car like the Camry. Most individuals are seeking a sportier or budget type car. What I like about this car is that it can appeal to all sorts of people. The ride is where the camry...

Not a great car - anymore

Date of Review:  Jun 1, 2005
Review: Bought a new 2005 Toyota Camry and put 2,000 miles on it. I only got 18.5 mpg with my 4 cylinder engine and the transmission kept shifting gears between 33 and 35mph for no reason. Three trips to dealer and e-mails to Toyota produced no results...

The Camry is a great car, but it does have one significant drawback!

Date of Review:  Aug 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: Great car for the money, and would buy another one in a minute!
Review: I drove 35 different cars before deciding on the 2005 Toyota Camry. I bought the 4-cylinder model and got the side and curtain airbags as an option. The rep at the dealership gave me a few extras at a lower price, like the cargo net and threw in a...

2005 Camry XLE V6

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for reliability, high value for dollar, and luxury ride and appointments, look no further. You will be happy with the Camry.
Review: I just bought the new XLE V6 after 13 years of driving Mercury Grand Marquis. Naturally, I was accustomed to the wonderful, soft, quiet ride of the Marquis and wondered how this Camry would stack up. When I went car shopping, my intention was to try...

Better than any car under 30,000, in terms of quality vs price

Date of Review:  Jul 26, 2005
The Bottom Line: Definately a buy -- would recommend it
Review: Who couldn't love a Toyota? They last really long without having many of the problems typical of their American or European counterparts. Since the early '90s, Toyota & Honda have made quality their number one priority and the latest Camry is no...

2005 Camry LE - ECT problems - No Dealer support

Date of Review:  Aug 10, 2005
Review: Great car - BUT on long inclined grades the car continuously shifts between 3rd & 4th gears until the cruise control is turned off. Dealership agree that the ECT isn't working properly, even took out another new LE that did the same thing. Toyota...

2005 Camry LE 4 cyl 5 speed automatic

Date of Review:  Nov 3, 2005
Review: We bought our Camry based on vehicle reviews and word of mouth from associates who had also purchased Camrys in the past. We are very disappointed. Fuel mileage is only slight better than our old 95 Buick Century. Ride is reasonably good with about...

2005 Camry LE

Review: 3.0L-V6 is smooth, powerful, and quiet. The Camry is the perfect size and easy to handle, making parking simple and convenient. Everything other than the seats is great.

The Camry- a nice car at a nice price!

Date of Review:  May 10, 2005
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this car. If you compare it with the Accord and Altima, you will see the difference!
Review: My husband and I purchased a 2005 Camry LE Sport Edition in February. His last car was a Mitsubishi Eclipse, purchased in his single days. Now that he is married, he wanted a more reliable, more family-friendly car. I have always driven Toyota cars...

2005 Toyota Camry $30,000 LEMON

Date of Review:  May 25, 2007
Review: Bought it new in August, '05. V6XLE, 3.0. Shifting problems from day one. I am one of thousands with this problem. Toyota America admits the problem, denies a fix, calls the erratic and dangerous shifting "within design" specifications. Told me to...
