BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED!!!

by   bamatt ,  Jan 1, 2005
Pros: Feel of a quality built auto, ride, fun-factor, speedy acceleration, & cornering
Cons: could have used a different color for turn signal & wiper knobs.
The Bottom Line: Mini is called "Pocket Rocket" for a reason. It handles & rides wonderfully for a sports car. Don't buy one if you are shy of meeting new people.
Review: I would like to preface my review by saying that I am not a professional automobile rater, just a real person, an average driver, like most who will read this review. My review is intended to express a female perspective of what it is like to own & ...

2005 MINI Cooper "S" John Cooper Works package

by   snakedoctor ,  Jun 9, 2008
Pros: Handling, available options, economy, Appearance, allure, power to weight, sunroof option, folding rear seats
Cons: No factory armrest between seats, no auto up windows in US
The Bottom Line: Car is fun to drive, and practical for commuting. It has excellent curb appeal, and you can't get better handling. I like this car more every time I drive it.
Review: The MINI has been around for a long time. But the new generation of MINIs are something all together different than the ones I raced as a kid. I have the MINI Cooper "S" and maxed it out with all the options when I bought it new. Including the Nav ...

Nothing but fun

by   geotrash ,  Sep 12, 2005
Pros: Cute, gets lots of attention, reliable, solid
Cons: Stiff ride
Review: Worth every bit of the wait. The buying experience was great from start to finish, even if we paid sticker. The car itself is a blast, and we've already driven it 8000 miles in 4 months. No problems whatsoever. No squeaks, no glitches. The car is quick- ...

Exciting and unique!

by   shaunzie ,  Dec 11, 2005
Pros: Fun, sporty, and fuel efficient
Cons: Small and not very cheap
Review: This car is sure to grab everyone's attention! Not only is nice on the eyes, it's nice on the wallet as well. Sure it's price tag may not seem too thrifty, but it's amazing fuel efficiency will more than pay for itself in the years to come. It's fun ...

MINI Convertible Is Fun, But More Charming In The Showroom Than On The Road

by   drive571 , top reviewer in Cars & Motorsports at Epinions.com ,  Dec 4, 2004
Pros: Overwhelmingly cute looks, quick steering, agile handling, increased sense of novelty.
Cons: Same chintzy interior plastics--now sun-accentuated--plus duller acceleration, poor visibility, pronounced scuttle shake.
The Bottom Line: It's easy to love this car for its styling, but its increased weight and poorer ergonomics make the MINI's already-underwhelming driving experience even more compromised. Did somebody say Miata?
Review: My Experience Perhaps taking a cue from the producers of The Matrix, MINI has decided to release a sequel right on the heels of their wildly-popular original. A convertible version is new for 2005, unusually close to the MINI's 2002 ...
