2005 HONDA ACCORD EX V-6

by   Dr.P ,  Dec 16, 2004
Pros: I has the look and comfort of a much more expensive European sedan.
Cons: There is more road and wind noise than I would have expected.
The Bottom Line: For the money, I personally do not think you can find a better car.
Review: 2005 HONDA ACCORD V-6 SEDAN Every fall I anxiously await the unveiling of the next years new car models. I like to checkout and test drive at least two of the new cars every month. Even before I was old enough to drive, I always ...

Beneath the English Gentlemen Facade, There Beats the Heart of an Athlete

by   Chunchu ,  Mar 31, 2005
Pros: Decent price, great handling
Cons: Feels big at parking lot speed
The Bottom Line: A car so good, paying more for a sedan would be considered a fallacy
Review: A recent visit to CarDirect.com reveals an interesting phenemenon. Bimmers and Benzes, for some reason, are selling at huge discounts. I've been a car nut for close to 20 years, and I have never seen anything like this. In the heyday of the tech bubble, ...

Happy Hondaing

by   jblumb1 ,  Dec 15, 2004
Pros: Interior, ride, fuel economy, reliability, value
Cons: Rattles-dealer fixed at last!
The Bottom Line: A great choice for almost everyone
Review: Sometimes we face points in our lives when we have to make large decisions -- quickly. No one likes to do that, but sometimes it's inevitable. Such an unfortunate occurrence was bestowed upon me when a minor traffic accident forced me to let go of my ...

2005 Honda Accord LX Sedan

by   i64x ,  Feb 18, 2008
Pros: Reliable, excellent resale value, ergonomic controls, easy to drive, cheap to maintain
Cons: Ugly back on the Sedan, good at everything - excels at nothing
The Bottom Line: Excels at residual value and reliability. The Accord is a nice car with excellent reliability. After owning a 300,000 mile Accord, we didn't hesitate to buy this one.
Review: The 2005 Accord LX Sedan isn't what I'd call an exciting car, yet at the same time I wouldn't hesitate to call it an excellent car. Since 1976 Honda has given us great Accords year after year. They haven't been the most exciting cars to drive, nor have ...

Accord Coupe.......24-kt Gold

by   japs52 ,  Aug 27, 2005
Pros: Styling, Performance, Value, Fit and Finish, Insurance Rates, Storage, Mileage, Does everything very well.
Cons: Blinding dash display at night. No daytime running lights, Garbage tires (Bridgestone Turanza's)
The Bottom Line: You will never find a better car for the money...end of story!
Review: I love cars. I've had a fascination since purchasing my first car at age 18. Now being 53, the one constant throughout the years has been Honda automobiles, and this current version is arguably the best yet. Being the end of the model year, and cars ...

2005 Honda Accord - Maximum Value

by   TheBurro ,  Jan 19, 2005
Pros: Value, gas mileage, room, ergonomics and thoughtful extras.
Cons: Stiff ride, poor placement of one of the stereo controls.
The Bottom Line: The Accord is a value that's tough to beat with throughtful extras, great gas mileage, a low price and terrific resale value.
Review: For less than $18,000 the Honda Accord LX provides a roomy and reasonably comfortable (although stiff) ride. It includes a great stereo with CD, and many thoughtful extras including a place to hide the cell phone charger plug under the center console ...

The best car for the money.

by   BigBarryB ,  Apr 25, 2005
Pros: This is probably the best all around car in the world.
Cons: Everybody else knows this too so you won't be "unique."
The Bottom Line: Though your Accord won't stand out in the parking lot, it's probably about the best car in it.
Review: I recently purchased a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 w/ leather. And it is overall a nicer car than the more expensive Audi A4 it replaces. (I wrote a review on it also) The EX V-6 coupe ($26,800) is a performance-oriented model, and comes with either ...

by   treihing ,  Dec 3, 2004
Pros: Ride quality, styling, Satellite Radio, 6-Disc CD Changer, Heated Leather(Front)Seats, Interior Styling.
Cons: Easier navigation when tuning XM Satellite Stations, Nothing else that I have noticed yet.
The Bottom Line: Best overall value for the money with standard features and overall performance.
Review: On 10/28/2004, I picked up a Black 2005 Honda Accord EX-L to replace my 2002 Honda Accord EX-V6. This is the smartest purchase that I have ever made. The sticker of the Accord EX-L is $25,015. I negotiated the price down to $22,100 before tax and ...

Quality Car

by   muneca2q ,  May 13, 2008
Pros: VTEC, soft leather, Reliable, Moonroof, steering wheel mounted controls, side curtain airbags, ABS
Cons: 4cy doesn't pick up super fast. Warranty is only for 36k competitors offer 100k
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend. This is my second one in the same color ;)
Review: I have had this car for the past 3 years. It's never let me down. I have it in black nighthawk pearl with tan leather interior. I tinted the windows and it's even more beautiful. This car is extremely reliable, as are most Hondas. The VTEC engine is very ...

Still Dealer Fresh!

by   smartguy1021 ,  Jul 8, 2006
Pros: 500% improvement over pre-2003 Accords, great syling, still has "new car" smell.
Cons: Annoying wind noise past 65 MPH, a few rattles mainly from seat belts.
The Bottom Line: The Accord is the best is has been, and can only get better.
Review: I have owned my '05 Accord EX with Leather seats for over a year, and the thing I find most amazing about it is it still has that "new car" smell so highly prized by new car owners. And I'm pleased to report that I love my Accord almost as much as I did ...
