Author's Review
I run a small independent photo business and most of the time I shoot at clients locations. I had a Focus ZX5 which was great, but didn't have enough room or flexibility.
I found the MaXX by accident, I was intrigued by the shape at first, then amazed by it's versatility. I usually carry a Camera case, a 3000 watt lighting rig, 8x10 backdrop frame and at lease one 8 foot backdrop. The Maxx (Malibu Maxx) swallows it all. Open the hatch fold the right rear seat and the front passenger seat down - easy 8 foot load space. Need to take four people and still have some luggage space - slide the rear seat forward a bit.
The LT I have is fully loaded, 6 airbags, XM radio - very good, V6, ABS, traction control. I average 34mpg highway and about 22 around town - iwissh it had a locking fuel cap though.
Performance from a stand still is very good, as is overtaking, it is no barn stormer down the back roads, but i really don't want to throw my equipment around too much so I don't notice it that badly. I do love the remote starter.
