The Bottom Line: Great Overall Luxury Sporty Mid-Size SUV for those who want an SUV plus a thrilling/sophisticated ride. Just don't carry a large family in it.

The Bottom Line: If you are considering a sporty, luxury SUV - buy this one! It is worth every penny you spend & depreciates slowly.

Pros: Meaty steering, surprisingly athletic handling, solid structure, excellent front-seat comfort.

Cons: Dinky cargo area, no third-row seating, poor fuel economy, touchy brakes, faintly absurd prices.

The Bottom Line: Cossetting luxury, impressive agility, acceptable utility. But... am I missing something, or is all this available in the less-expensive 3-Series wagon?
